Torinae

One who succeeds.

Torinae-3889.jpg

Hey there!

Torinae is a musical theatre-trained actor with over 11 years of experience. She recently appeared in the National Tour of My Fair Lady as Mrs. Eynsford-Hill and performed as Eliza Doolittle as an understudy. She has also played roles such as Mrs. Hicks in The Human Comedy by William Dumaresq and Alexander Dumas in Le Comte Noir by James D. Sasser, among other shows, staged readings, small concerts, and voice over work.

Torinae received her BM from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied musical theatre under the tutelage of industry professionals such as David Loud, Randy Graff, and Robin Morse. She continues to hone her craft by exploring various classes in the realm of musical theatre.

Torinae wishes to continue exploring different artistic mediums and herself as an artist. Her middle name Naileh, which means "one who succeeds," reflects her determination to overcome obstacles and pursue her goals.

Some quotes I like to remember:

"If not you, then who, If not now, then when?"

    - Author Unknown

"If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward."

    - Martin Luther King Jr.
